Our Review: iversity.org is a very decent platform for online collaboration and open courses. It sits firm on the fact that it is one of the top notch platforms for MOOC. Moreover, the system features options to create handouts and briefing material for the users who are attending the course and all this is auto generated. This includes all the course details and resources and the content which can be exported and distributed as a PDF. The course administrator can alter the handout format as per their requirements.

Over and above, the stream is very useful as it offers direct options to all the listed activities which allows the user to not only join and participate in the activity, but also to start discussions about the same and even directly download the corresponding resources.

The personal workspace proves to be another potent feature of the platform that allows the users to create their CVs and keep their personal information/data online, in a secure, structured and accessible manner.

It aces in the field by virtue of the fact that it’s an enormous network of open online courses and free for anyone to join, along with the notification and messaging features supplemented with e-mail digest for all the activities.
