Internshala, a leading career-tech platform for college students, announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount as a part of its Series A funding round from LC Nueva Investment Partners that raised the investment through their venture capital fund – LC Nueva Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
The round also saw participation from other investors, including high net worth individuals and Vijay Datt, founder, promoter, and CEO of Citadel Management Consulting.
The Gurugram-based startup will utilise the funds to achieve its vision of providing college students across India with the best start to their careers. It also plans to enhance the existing products and launch new services for the skilling and placement of budding professionals.
Founded in 2011 by Sarvesh Agrawal, Internshala is an internship and training platform helping college students to skill themselves. The platform provides students with access to online training and their first real-world experience through internships and fresher jobs.
