LiveHire, a talent acquisition and direct sourcing platform that helps clients find both direct hires and contingent workers, has acquired Arrived Workforce Connections Inc., a provider of shift scheduling solutions, in a bid to increase its market share and bolster its position and capabilities.
However, the company did not disclose the terms of the deal.
According to LiveWire, the acquisition will enable the company to grow its share of the contingent direct sourcing market and strengthen its position as a comprehensive workforce management platform. Moreover, it will allow the startup to integrate Arrived’s shift management mobile and desktop applications into its platform and provide an enhanced solution for the placement of contingent and shift workers.
With this deal, software as a service (SaaS) provider LiveHire also plans to expand its technology capabilities to address the extended workforce market, notably “agile shift management and rapid redeployment addressing the needs of workers on shifts and short-term assignments. The acquisition will increase its addressable market in healthcare, manufacturing, and retail verticals.
