Bengaluru, May 11, 2023 – The first of the 2023 series EdTech CXO Mixer held in Bengaluru on May 11, 2023, proved to be an astounding success, gathering an elite group of edtech founders and CXOs from the Bengaluru region. The event served as a platform to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and drive innovation in the ever-evolving field of education technology.
The EdTech CXO Mixer organized by AWS, Intel & EdTechReview attracted an impressive turnout of over 70+EdTech founders, CEOs, CTOs, and other CXOs from edtech startups in the Bengaluru region, including those who use AWS to deliver their EdTech solutions in India and the world.
The event started with a welcome by Haja Sheriff, NPO & Geo Expansion (South Asia), AWS. Haja shared his insights on the transformative power of technology in education and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to address the challenges faced by the industry.

Attendees serving different sub-segments within the edtech sector had the opportunity to engage in a round of introduction and networking sessions to share their experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions that are reshaping the education landscape.
Kotaro Ando, Co-Founder & CSO at I’mbesideyou Inc, a video analysis AI service that enables online communication tailored to each individual’s personality, said, “Our journey with AWS has been from the very beginning of our startup; the support has been amazing and impactful to help us grow faster, whether it is for video processing or machine learning, we cannot imagine it without AWS. Today we are already working with over one million hours of video and look forward to the continued support.”
Swatantra Kumar, Co-Founder of Able, a skilling app for non-tech roles that helps graduates get jobs in areas of sales, operations, marketing, finance and more, said, “We have been using AWS for the past three years and built an entire stack to grow from 250 users to 2.5M users. The complete ecosystem, like Code Build and Elastic Beanstalk, has helped us save many hours building our own heavy CI/CD pipeline or setting up our machine learning deployment. The support has just been amazing; seeing the amount of dedication the team must solve our issues is rare.”
The success of the first EdTech Meetup in Bengaluru has set the stage for future gatherings in the 2023 series. AWS, Intel & EdTechReview plan to organize similar events in different cities across India, creating a nationwide network of edtech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs to drive transformative change in education.
