Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) recently announced the launch of its ‘Crack the Entrance’ programme, which will help students in preparing for entrance examinations for medical and engineering colleges. The programme consists of online courses and an interactive portal. As part of the programme, special classes will be broadcast on the KITE VICTERS educational channel starting on April 3 at 7 p.m. Furthermore, students can access a practice platform on their website that includes videos, lessons, assignments, and mock tests.
The programme is a lifeline for students who are talented and interested but are falling behind in public entrance tests due to a lack of support. It’s also a valuable resource for students who want to consolidate the concepts they have learned and for those who are preparing for competitive exams. With this programme, students can feel reassured that they have the necessary support to excel in their exams.
The training programme is designed to boost students’ confidence. The questions given for the national competitive exams are from the textbooks the students have studied, instilling confidence in them. It is planned in such a way that the child learns four more concepts through the options given for the answer to a question. The answers to the old question papers will be provided by linking them to the syllabus. This approach empowers students to tackle the exams with confidence and clarity.
Speaking about the initiative, KITE CEO K. Anvar Sadath said:
Students who are completing their Plus Two studies in government and aid schools this year can use the portal from today onwards by providing their school admission number and date of birth.
Under the programme, the classes will be telecast from 7p.m to 11p.m, covering mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. There will be two repeat telecasts of the same classes the next day, from 7a.m to 11a.m from 1p.m to 5p.m in their respective orders. This flexible schedule ensures that students can access the classes at their convenience, even if they have other commitments. A total of 30 hours of classes of 1 hour each (totalling 120 hours) will be telecast for each subject. The mock tests and assignments will be given after the completion of the telecast for each class. Students will have the opportunity to improve their performance after reviewing their scores.
The programme will be available on the KITE VICTERS educational channel and its YouTube page.
