Manipal Academy of Higher Education, MAHE, and Teachspoon EdTech Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration, with Dr. Giridhar Kini, Registrar of MAHE, at its helm, aims to achieve several milestones in academic-industry partnerships. The MOU was signed by Dr. Kini, representing MAHE, and Dr. Palak Bhandari, a proud alumnus of Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCDS), MAHE, Mangalore, CEO and Founder, Teachspoon EdTech.
The collaborative approach seeks to enhance capabilities; Central Development includes efforts for Digital Learning Platforms, interactive Workshops and Webinars, and cooperative Research Partnerships. Notably, on July 6, 2022, Teachspoon EdTech Private Limited (TEPL), a startup operating firm, was incorporated in India. It works in the field of education and learning.
Dr Palak Bhandari, CEO and Founder of Teachspoon Edtech Private Limited, expressed her views on the recent collaboration between Teachspoon and Manipal, stating:

Teachspoon EdTech Pvt. Ltd aims to address the accessibility gap in higher education. Through its venture, Medi Study Go provides students with animated lectures, notes, mindmaps and other study resources. It is currently incubated at the Manipal-Government of Karnataka bio incubator. Fueled by the desire to make learning dentistry engaging and accessible, the platform began creating animated explainer videos and interactive mind maps to make the learning process feel less like a chore and more like an exploration.
