Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) has joined forces with TeamLease EdTech to address the state’s skill requirements and employability challenges. This partnership aims to equip the state’s workforce industry through various programmes. The initiative seeks to provide employment opportunities through work-linked degree programmes, credit-linked degree programmes, internships, and certificates, making education and training accessible to all.
Through this collaboration, Kerala’s workforce will be equipped with the skills required by the industry and gain from relevant internships and apprenticeships. There will be a mutual exchange of knowledge and best practices, and industry insights will be shared between the two parties. With a focus on continuous learning and practical experience, the employability of job seekers will be improved, eventually leading to Kerala’s socio-economic development.
