Kahoot!, an online platform that allows any individual or company to easily create, publish, and organize learning sessions that promote compelling engagement and improve learning outcomes, has recently partnered with TED to provide free interactive learning resources through its platform. The collaboration incorporates TED-Ed’s educational content with Kahoot!’s Interactive learning tools, allowing students, teachers, and parents to access educational materials.
TED-Ed content will be integrated into the Kahoot! platform. The resources include TED-Ed’s animated videos covering history, science, and human biology. Developed with input from TED speakers, educators, and experts, these animations are designed to encourage learning and curiosity.
Logan Smalley, Founder of TED-Ed, commented on the initiative’s focus:
When students are curious, the possibilities are limitless. By combining TED-Ed Animations with Kahoot! ‘s interactive platform, we’re equipping today’s students, teachers, and lifelong learners with tools to explore, question, and grow—ensuring that the best ideas of today empower changemakers both now and in the future.
The TED-Ed content is free and can be accessed in classroom settings, for self-study, or at home. The initial release marks the beginning of the collaboration, with plans to expand content offerings in 2025 to reach more age groups and educational topics.
TED-Ed aims to inspire and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students worldwide. Everything it does promotes learning, from creating a growing library of original animated videos to providing an international platform for teachers to develop their interactive lessons, to assisting curious students around the world in bringing TED to their schools and developing presentation literacy skills, to celebrating innovative leadership among its global network of over 650,000 teachers. The company has evolved from an idea worth spreading to an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students worldwide each week.
