Thomas Zurinskas

Tom Zurinskas is a retired engineering research psychologist from the FAA.  He developed truespel phonetics in 1986 while participating in voice workload investigations and data link messaging investigations for air traffic control.  Post retirement he developed the truespel website and free converter using the voices of American dictionaries as the pronunciation model for accuracy.  He has published four books, two on phonetic frequencies, one a listing of words, and another a copy of the VOA Intermediate dictionary which lacksd a pronunciation guide and is given one with truespel.
