Valentina’s foray into EdTech began in 2007 when she spearheaded the development of an education centre at a financial company that she worked for. After looking at market examples, Ms. Drofa found that some companies got in the habit of conducting training seminars. Finding the idea appealing, she decided to replicate it herself, and began working to build an education centre. iLearney is a remote learning system for financial subjects that was created to bring together newcomers and professionals in trading, investment, market analytics, and more within one system. Even after Valentina departed from iLearney and shifted her focus towards entrepreneurship and working with financial and fintech businesses directly, many companies sought her out, requesting help with developing corporate training systems.
