Cloud computing services are being rapidly adopted by enterprises across the globe. And the demand is going to grow at an unprecedented rate.
According to a report, the global cloud computing market size is expected to grow from $371.4 billion in 2020 to $832.1 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 17.5% during the forecast period. The same report suggested that APAC is expected to grow at the highest CAGR during the forecast period. And, according to IDC’s May 2020 survey, “64% of Indian organizations are expected to increase demand for cloud computing while 56% for cloud software to support the new normal” as a result of the pandemic.
EdTech companies across the globe have been one of the major contributors to the growth of cloud computing, fed by the rising need for digital tools and online pedagogy. The digitalization of education has increased the use of Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) enabled real-time analytics, all of which in turn, add to the soaring cloud computing usage.
In view of this, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is organizing a series of webinars on “How to build, scale, and save on the cloud” in association with EdTechReview on the 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th November 2020.
