[Webinar] Flipped Learning: Gateway to Student Engagement

[Webinar] Flipped Learning: Gateway to Student Engagement

DATE- August 26, 2014, 3:00 p.m. ET

PRESENTED BY- Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams

ABOUT- Join Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams, flipped classroom pioneers, to learn how the flipped classroom model can help teachers gain more face-to-face time with students, foster real differentiated or personalized learning, and challenge students to take responsibility for their learning.

Flipped Mastery provides multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate understanding, letting students learn from their mistakes, practice more, and master the material at their own pace. This is the magic for student success!

Bergmann and Sams share methodologies that worked for them and allowed students to explore deeper learning opportunities and pedagogies (e.g., PBL, CBL, UDL, Mastery, Inquiry). The key is creating an environment for learning that is sustainable, reproducible, and manageable. Students and teachers are able to assess mastery and differentiate each lesson when remediation is requested or needed.
