The Department of Management Studies(DMS) , IIT-Delhi is hosting its annual Building India Inc event on 21-22 March.
This event is held every year, but this year, it is being opened up to school students with a structured program for learning entrepreneurship.
The event brings together eminent personalities such as Mr. Ramanan Ramanathan, Mission Director at Attal Innovation Mission; Mr. S.D Shibulal, Co-founder at Infosys; and Mr. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman at AICTE and many more. Over 2 days, the event will bring together industry and academia to build the future generations of India.
This year, IIT Delhi DMS has also extended an invite to all schools, their principals and students to be a part of their mission to inspire and empower India. Registered students will receive training in entrepreneurship and innovation, a chance to present their innovations to the esteemed jury and win cash prizes. All participants will receive a certificate from IIT Delhi DMS.
Speaking about this endeavour, Masoom Bajaj, Coordinator, Industry Interaction Committee, IIT Delhi said: “Entrepreneurship-focused programs help prepare children for the challenges they are going to face in college and their career. It teaches them to have a long-term outlook, plan to achieve their goals and bounce back from failure. We have partnered with Clever Harvey as a knowledge partner as our missions align: Rebuilding India Holistically.”
Schools from across the country - Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai; Sancta Maria International School, Hyderabad; Delhi Public School, RK Puram; The Shri Ram School Moulsari and Aravali; Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai; Emerald Heights International, Indore and Neerja Modi School, Jaipur have already registered.
