Recently SXSWedu had organized four-day event to connect and collaborate large number of education stakeholders worldwide. Entries from all across the globe participated in the LAUNCHedu competition. Here are 5 promising edtech startups who participated in the competition.

Admittedly mainly targets guidance counselors, high school students and their parents.


Eduvee is UK based online community for the educators and learners that excessively use social media for the exchange of thoughts, ideas and knowledge among various users. Eduvee’s learning system is powered by real-time data analytics and covers Biology, Chemistry and Physics for ages 11-16.


Imagine a robot is teaching you science and maths, isn’t interesting. The RobotsLAB BOX is an innovative learning-aid representing essential concepts of math and science by using robots. The interactive lessons offered here assist students in learning various concepts of science and math.

Proctorio Remote Proctor

Proctorio is cost-effective automatic remote proctoring software that assists universities to validate student identities during online assessments. The responsibility of Proctorio Remote Proctor is to stop academic policy violations during online exams.


ClassroomIQ was launched in 2013 and till date around 200,000 open response questions have been graded by the teachers using ClassroomIQ. Here, they enable teachers to grade instant feedback or grade to loads open-responses and hand-written work in minutes.
