Is Voxer your New Communication App?

Is Voxer your new communication app?

Voxer is a walkie-talkie that one can download in their smartphone to send and receive picture, voice and text messages from other people. Voxer is available on Android, Windows and iOS. The conversation using this app is chronological and enables users to stay connected to like-minded people.

Before, we go ahead and talk more about Voxer, have a look at this video to have a better  idea about Voxer.

While using Voxer, your message is received by the other person in just few seconds and you can have conversation just like you were on a call on mobile phone. Although, if you are busy or at work, then message just stays in the device till user opens it.  Voice recording message is useful when people have to tell long stories and have to send long text to others.

One of the Voxer users wrote, “We began playing around with Voxer and immediately fell in love with the app. With a variety of backgrounds in education and technology, all of us seemed to work in positions where there's a tendency to feel "alone". Voxer offered us the chance to belong to a virtual "department" of sorts. We began sharing our struggles and successes via Voxer. Many times, in sharing our struggles, we were able to relate to one another and offer suggestions and solutions. And, when successes were shared, the group genuinely felt a sense of pride.”

Now let’s take a look on some of the situations where Voxer can benefit inside and outside the classroom.

Students can work together outside of school on a project

If a group of students agree on working on a project and meanwhile all the students are not in the same location, then they can use Voxer to communicate with each other and discuss anything related to their projects. They can also share pictures related to their project by selecting the people in the conversation.

When the teacher requires to send a message to their students

Educators can easily make announcements to kids or to their parents or assign something to a large number of kids. In place of sending a lot of mails or reminders to the kids, they can send a voice message to their students explaining everything. Moreover, if students have questions related to the announcement or assignment sent over, then they can even cross question over the Voxer likewise they do in the classroom. The entire conversation is open for every student, and everyone can get benefit from hearing other student’s questions and responses.

Voxer is an amazing app for communication with its amazing features, try it and let us know what you feel about it.
