Three Reasons Why You Should Be Participating in the Pan-India Maths Challenge

This year, Diwali celebrations come knocking a little earlier. Mangahigh is all set to conduct its third annual event of the Diwali Maths Challenge.

In this challenge, schools across India will come together and compete to show the best of their math skills. Mangahigh, known for its gamified math learning, conducts similar competitions in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Central Asia, South America and the Middle East. The intent behind these competitions is to encourage students to engage with mathematics and enjoy the subject, instead of being fearful of it. Below are some GREAT reasons why your school should be participating in this online math challenge.

Bring Out The Best of Maths In Your Student:

The spirit of competition fills students with enthusiasm and pushes them to do better. One major reason for you to participate in this competition is to encourage ALL students to practice math without stress. Through our platform, you will not only be able to understand the level of each students’ knowledge but also give them a chance to fall in love with maths. In this Challenge, students will have full access to awesome Maths lessons all day, every day for 12 days. This means students can work through the lessons at home, or in class - providing a great opportunity to experience the impact of digital, adaptive, personalized learning, while also dramatically raising the profile of Maths in your school.

Competing with students across India will definitely boost the confidence of students and bring them a sense of achievement.

Amazing Prizes Awaiting:

Competitions aren’t complete without rewards. Keeping this in mind, Mangahigh has many amazing prizes on offer, for schools and for individual students.

Students should aim to earn as many medal points as they can, by successfully completing activities on Mangahigh to the highest level they can. Every Bronze standard achieved collects 1 medal point, a Silver standard achieved is worth 2 medal points, and a Gold standard is worth 3 medal points (a max. of 3 points available per activity). When students earn more than 400 medal points over the Challenge days they win a Real Medallion!

Community Building & Recognition:

With schools participating from all over India in this competition, this is a good chance to get recognition within the school community. This gives the opportunity for your school to shine on the leaderboard, showcasing your students’ skills and build a distinct reputation among the education community for excellence in mathematics.
