Any Time Classes (ATC), a Delhi-based online learning platform focused on app-based visual content, has raised fresh capital in its Pre-series A funding round from Mumbai Angels Network.
The startup, however, did not disclose the amount it raised from the angel investment group.
Started by PS Rathore in 2017, Any Time Classes provides online coaching on various courses via its ATC app. With its app-based visual content, the startup helps students visualize, understand, learn and retain to write and score better. ATC initially offered only chartered accountancy courses but now offers courses for commerce students in classes 11 and 12, as well as lessons in financial accountancy, analyst accreditation and business studies, along with preparatory courses for law school entrance exams.
As its name suggests, Any Time Classes aims to make creative learning available in every hand anytime, anywhere. While the platform largely offers online courses, it provides storage drive-based (SD card, flash drive) courses as well to students in areas with internet issues.
Speaking about its plans to use the new funding, PS Rathore, Founder and CEO of Any Time Classes, told TechCircle that it “will use 40% of the fresh capital for marketing purposes, 30% for its team, 15% to improve its technology and allot the rest for capital expenditure.”
Commenting on the investment, Nandini Mansinghka, Co-Promoter and CEO at Mumbai Angels Network, said in a statement that the firm sees a lot of potential and growth in the e-learning sector. “Everything is turning to the virtual format and everyone is adapting to digital learning platforms as the new normal,” she said.
Meanwhile, it is said that Mumbai Angels Network is the first external investor in the Delhi-based online platform. The CEO told TechCircle the startup earlier raised Rs 1.75 crore from friends and family in July 2018.
Any Time Classes claims itself to be the best online platform for CA education, and as the ‘most preferred app for preparation of Chartered Accountancy exam’. It claims to offer 60+ courses and has users in 1000+ cities, with 20,000+ downloads of its learning app till date. The platform runs on a freemium model.
