Following its goals to help student all around Brazil to reach a good quality of education allied to innovation and technology, Descomplica is a startup founded in 2011 and now reaches 5 million students every month. It works with a 100% online model that offers classes for teenage students, under and postgraduates. Today the EdTech is announced as one of the “Tech Pioneers” of the World Economic Forum, a global recognition for early to growth-stage companies considered the world’s most promising start-ups and scale-ups at the forefront of technological and business model innovation.

The startup is one of the two Brazilian companies joining the group of a hundred companies. It now begins a two-year journey as part of the World Economic Initiatives, when it will join its activities and events, helping to bring fresh thinking to critical global discussions, especially about education, one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that compose the United Nations (UN) agenda to reach prosperity and development around the world.
