With the acquisition, Finalsite furthers its position as a leader in the school district website and digital communications market.

SchoolPointe is on a mission to empower schools through innovation. Since 2002, the company has been providing world-class website and digital communications technology solutions to K-12 public schools across the US. The company has more than 500 clients across the country.

Commenting on the new development, Jon Moser, Founder & CEO of Finalsite, said,

“Schools today rely on their websites and digital communications tools not only as a hub for information but also for community engagement and school-to-home communications. With the acquisition of SchoolPointe, Finalsite has expanded our client base across the United States, helping even more districts meet the evolving needs and high expectations of today’s families with our innovative solutions built just for schools.”

Finalsite is the preferred website, communications, and marketing platform of 7,000+ schools and universities in 110 countries around the world. Started 20 years ago and based in Glastonbury, Connecticut with offices in Austin, London, and Hong Kong, it helps schools and districts enroll more students, communicate faster and better, increase donations, and better engage their entire community with its software and services. Finalsite claims to launch over 300 new websites annually, with 50 million site views every day.

Christopher Weeks, SchoolPointe’s CEO, said,

“Today's news marks a great milestone for SchoolPointe. We are thrilled to join the Finalsite family and are excited to be able to provide our clients even more resources and professional development tools at their fingertips that only a company of Finalsite’s caliber can offer. As part of the leading provider in the marketplace, we are eager to deliver the most comprehensive suite of products for K-12 schools today.”

Earlier this year, Finalsite acquired SchoolAdmin, a K-12 enrolment management platform based in Austin, Texas, which expanded its product portfolio into admissions, billing, and enrollment. The acquisition of SchoolPointe highlights its next step to innovate and better address the needs of the independent, public, higher education, and international schools it serves throughout the world. Finalsite also recently announced its social media connector tool and the upcoming launch of an all-in-one communications platform slated for this fall.

Finalsite is a portfolio company of Bridge Growth Partners, LLC, a private equity firm that targets investments in the technology and technology-enabled services sectors.
