Educate Me Educate You: Developing Early Learning Tools

Educate Me Educate You: Developing Early Learning Tools
Learning & education are fundamental at all ages but particularly in the first years. Early childhood education should focus on learning through playing in order to improve a child’s cognitive, emotional, physical, sensory, reflective, communication
and social developments.

In olden days, it was difficult for educators and teachers to provide children with such fun learning environment. But nowadays’ technology brings many approaches to engage children in education. We’ve come up with a great online resource “Emeeyou”, which helps educators and parents by researching and developing high quality, evidence based, early learning tools. Let’s learn about it.

Educate Me Educate You (abbreviated as Emeeyou ) is a great online platform dedicated to improve early learning tools. It helps parents support their children’s development through utilizing and engaging together with mobile technology. They apply evidence based approach to mobile learning content. The apps created by Emeeyou are more than just a game. They are assessed. The metrics Emeeyou uses while designing apps are as follows.

Receptive Vocabulary: The child looks at a group of pictures and points to the one the examiner names aloud.

Object Assembly: The child is presented with pieces of a puzzle in a standard arrangement and fits the pieces together to form a meaningful whole.

Picture Naming: The child names pictures that are displayed in a stimulus book.

Emeeyou primarily focuses on research and testing of mobile applications. Its main goal is to make sure an app reaches the potential learning standard. Emeeyou has already designed an award winning app “Jungle Adventure” and one more app “Under Water Adventure” is about to reach children soon. More information about these apps is as follows.
