HirePort, an Amsterdam-based recruitment platform, has raised €1 million ($1.1 million) in a seed funding round led by Powerloom.
HRTech entrepreneur Perry Oostdam, Dutch investor Jordy Kool, Chris Zadeh (Founder of Ohpen), and HRTech investor Quintin Schevernels also participated in the funding round, according to the company.
Founded in 2021 by Remco van de Ruit, Bram Medema, and Alexander Leenaers, HirePort provides a candidate-based matching tool that automatically links companies to the recruiter that proposes the right candidate without having to deal with the usual onboarding, management, and contract negotiation process. The platform allows companies to access an endless pool of candidates from multiple suppliers, managing the process efficiently.
HirePort claims to currently work with over 200 independent recruiters worldwide to make hiring at scale work.
Commenting on the funding, Co-founder Remco van de Ruit, said,
New funding fuels HirePort’s mission to empower companies and recruiters to succeed together. With our sights set on expansion, we’re strengthening our network of the best recruiters and establishing partnerships with other HR tools and platforms. Our goal is to position HirePort as the go-to channel for external recruitment within the HR ecosystem, and our new funding means that we’re in the position to make that happen.
The company said it will use the fresh capital to accelerate expansion, strengthen its network, and establish partnerships with other HR tools and platforms.
Speaking about the company, Co-founder Bram Medema added,
Our platform is revolutionising the way tech-driven companies and recruitment suppliers succeed together. We’re convinced that the quality and experience of our recruitment suppliers are key to our success. We deeply respect recruiters who have started their own businesses as freelancers or niche agencies and believe they are among the best in the industry. We’re helping them grow their business by connecting them with the hottest companies. And in return, they show that sourcing even the most in-demand talent within 30 days is possible for our clients. And as we grow, this will only get better.
HirePort claims that its clients saw a 35 percent increase in successful hires and a 50 percent decrease in time-to-hire for senior talent by expanding their recruitment pool.
