To motivate students to pursue polytechnic courses, the Department of Technical Education is conducting comprehensive and free training sessions for students preparing to take the POLYCET-2024 in all government and private polytechnic colleges across the State beginning April 1. The POLYCET-2024 is set for April 27, and the online application deadline is April 5.
In a statement, Commissioner of Technical Education Chadalavada Nagarani stated that thousands of students have already registered for free coaching and that interested students can contact their institution Principals on Monday. She said the free coaching will be provided in all 87 government and 182 private polytechnic institutions in the State until April 25, adding that students will be given coaching materials in Telugu and English. Math, physics, and chemistry classes will be taught from 9 am to 1 pm.
Nagarani, who is also the Chairman of the State Institute of Technical Education and Training, stated that a pre-final entrance exam will be held on April 25 to alleviate stress about exams among students.
At the time of admission, students need to submit their SSC pass certificate and marks lists when applying for admission. T Sekhar, principal and district coordinator of MBTS Government Polytechnic, urged eligible candidates to avail the opportunity provided by the government
