UniSearch, an Australia-based EdTech company and international student recruitment solutions provider, has launched its digital platform integrating every step of study abroad in India.
UniSearch simplifies the study abroad process for students through the flexibility of various application routes within one platform. Students can filter down university and program options from around the world to a tailor-made shortlist with UniSearch’s AI-powered search engine. At the same time, students can connect with expert counsellors within their region virtually or in person through local branches, and with international student mentors around the world. Students receive one-to-one support, either online or in person, to build solid applications, receive assistance with visa processes, select from a range of the best available overseas health covers, explore student funding options available through local banks, and more.
Mr. Ashraf Haq, Founder & CEO of UniSearch, drew on his own experiences as an international student when creating this platform. He explains,
“Students need to tackle many steps to successfully begin and complete their study abroad journey. A lot of the time, they don’t have complete access to all the information and processes necessary in one place. This is the goal of UniSearch – to make the right solution accessible for every prospective international student, every step of the way.”
In keeping with this goal, UniSearch also offers on-and-off-campus accommodation search and booking features along with student internship feeds and application channels on its platform.
To customise solutions for both students and universities, UniSearch leverages the intersection between human expertise within diverse markets and smart technology solutions. “The volume of international student prospects can only be managed with technology to screen for the best-fit students, while one-to-one human connection is absolutely necessary for successful conversion and recruitment,” says Mr. Haq.
In line with this goal of combining local expertise with a global perspective, UniSearch is currently operating three physical offices in India. Alongside application support, UniSearch India is hosting IELTS masterclasses to help applicants hit target English proficiency scores and offer one-to-one financial guidance to those seeking student loans. UniSearch also operates onsite in Malaysia, with services in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the UAE due to launch in 2022 and in other locations across the world henceforth.
This hybrid approach to student recruitment aids university partners in optimising their recruitment efforts for target markets as well. University partners can locate their best-fit students in diverse markets through the platform’s intelligent profile-matching systems and engage them directly. In collaboration with dedicated regional teams, university partners access local market insight regarding their target audiences. This helps them develop effective conversion and recruitment strategies geared towards these prospects. Regional experts create unique opportunities to collaborate with local institutions in target markets and to coordinate recruitment efforts within specific locales.
UniSearch expects to see over 1.5 million annual visitors on its digital platform by the end of the year, and over 5 million visitors from 2023 onwards.
