BPP Education Group, a global leading professional and vocational education company, has recently announced that it has acquired Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), a leading provider of digital marketing training and certifications based in Dublin, Ireland.
While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, BPP said the acquisition would provide valuable growth opportunities for both entities and create revenue synergies to support the delivery of each entity’s growth strategy. The acquisition would also allow BPP to deliver a broader portfolio of programmes to provide more learners and clients with access to a leading portfolio of professional courses and apprenticeships, the company added.
Founded in 2009, DMI has certified over 55,000 individuals globally with its digital marketing training portfolio, which extends from short courses to Masters-level programmes. The company has over 230,000 members and partners with universities and training providers in over 100 countries.
DMI’s high-quality certifications are internationally recognised and are partnered with global marketing professional bodies, including the American Marketing Association and the Australian Marketing Institute. DMI also works in collaboration with search and performance marketing leader Neil Patel Digital.
