Redeminds, an education technology startup, has raised $220k from Surfboard Ventures and ContentStack in an angel round recently in April 2022.
Co-founded by Shiv Shankar Patnaik and Nabarupa Chatterjee in 2021, Redeminds is an end-to-end career guidance platform for school students that blends AI & behavioral sciences to offer a personalized map that empowers students to discover their true potential and help build skills for the world of the future. The platform ensures that the career recommendations aren’t just theoretical beacons (backed by data and assessments), but are also a real-world immersive bridge of skills for occupations that will be relevant when the child graduates.
The startup aims to empower parents to make an informed (and free from human bias) decision for their children by providing clarity on who their children are, what they are good at and how they can achieve true potential.
Its offerings includes, strengths finder assessment built in the form of a game-more relatable to teens, personalized 1-2-1 career counselling. It focuses on tier II and tier III markets, project opportunities with corporates through day in the life immersions, and access to curated community of professionals.
Redeminds believes that this changing world needs students to be more than just the cookie-cutter outcome of academic factories. Redeminds decided to fix this by building scientifically designed counseling products, specifically for students, that help them discover and make the career choices that are ideal for them.
