DNA-based self-discovery and career lifecycle management platform GENLEAP has raised Rs 27 crore (about $3.3 million) in a pre-series A funding round.
Existing investors Mike Holland (Former CEO of Embassy REIT), Sanjay Dutt (CEO & MD of Tata Realty), Neeraj Bansal (Co-head & COO of KPMG India), Karthikeyan Balasubramanian, Deepak Kaul, Manish Dhawan (Olam Food International) took part in the funding round. New investors including Vikaash Khdloya, Sunil Bajaj, Yoguen Oukabay, and Mandeep Mehta also contributed in their personal capacities, as per a statement.
Founded in 2021 by Sachin Sandhir, Nimish Gupta, Nitin Thakur, Shweta Kataria, and Mohit Juneja, GENLEAP is on a mission to help people leverage their inherent talent and give them the right environment so that they become the best version of themselves. It offers DNA-based self-discovery and career lifecycle management to aspirants, including students and working professionals.
GENLEAP uses artificial intelligence to power customised, personalised solutions to enable people to make optimal career choices by understanding their personality, choices regarding personal development, health and wellness, mental well-being, sports & nutrition, skincare, and relationship.
The Gurugram-based startup said it will utilize the funds to expand its global geographical footprint, including entry into the US, Middle East, and European markets. It also plans to launch products providing DNA-led solutions for personal career growth and development, health and wellness, relationship compatibility, and disease susceptibility.
