Concord University, a public university in Athens, West Virginia, has launched a new digital career services platform. This is the first of its kind in the region. The online platform offers students various tools, including LinkedIn resources, cover letters and resume help. It also has an interview feature powered by artificial intelligence. In addition to key features, the portal allows students to access articles. These articles are tailored to their interests and career goals. It also includes blogs and other resources. These can help students understand job markets and industries across the globe.
The hard work of the Title III team resulted in the creation of the new Career Services webpage. Their goal was to create a supportive environment. This environment is not only for students but also for alumni. It aims to help them succeed in their academic and professional lives. The platform is user-friendly and offers several new online learning tools. These tools can help users at different stages of their career paths.
Amanda Banfield, Student Services Specialist, shared his thoughts on this new resource:
We are excited to launch our new Career Services webpage. The Title III team has worked hard behind the scenes to help create a space where students and alumni alike can thrive academically and professionally. We’re thrilled to give our community a more intuitive and user-friendly online experience with exciting new online learning resources designed to support them at any point in their career journey.
The platform provides more than just on-campus services. It also allows students to participate in career events nationwide and connect with potential employers who offer internships and long-term job opportunities.
