The Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) and the Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to elevate information technology education in the state. Per the official statement, the partnership will focus on identifying learning gaps and curating online training courses and virtual and in-person seminars led by industry experts.
The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, propel research, and foster an environment where advanced technological education can create new verticals and drive innovation.
CTE offers video-based training courses, instructor-led training programmes, Certification Programme, seminars/webinars by domain experts, international workshops, hands-on training, train-the-trainer programs (Faculty Development Programs), and the latest innovative Software Products for its Member Institutions.
Commenting on the partnership, the Director of Consortium for Technical Education, K. A. Alagarsamy, said:

CTE and APITA claim their association will enable faculty development programmes, online video-based courses by domain experts, seminars on current and emerging technologies, and joint certification and diploma programmes. It also hopes to provide software licences to APITA’s educational member institutions, increasing access to advanced technological tools.

The Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) has been formed to provide innovative programmes and services that bridge the knowledge gap between academia and industry. Its mission is to disseminate knowledge and establish Research and development incubators to drive and facilitate product-oriented entrepreneurship in India. The CTE Board of Governors comprises eminent professors, vice-chancellors from prestigious universities, state government (IAS) representatives, and subject-matter experts from various industries.
