iHub Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation, a leading Technology Innovation Hub (TiH) specializing in Cognitive Computing and Social Sensing, and Medanta Institute of Education and Research (MIER), a not-for-profit entity dedicated to healthcare research at Medanta (Global Health Limited), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in medical and healthcare innovation.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Vinay Mehta, Chief Executive Officer, iHub Anubhuti, and Dr. Shoibal Mukherjee, Director, Medical Research, Medanta, in the presence of other dignitaries from TiH, MIER, and IIIT-Delhi, signifying the commitment of both organizations to work towards advancing healthcare technologies and fostering impactful research collaborations. This partnership formalizes the organizations’ shared vision of collaborative growth through joint research initiatives, knowledge sharing, and skill development to unlock opportunities at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
Speaking about the collaboration, Prof. Ranjan Bose, Chairman, iHub Anubhuti and Director IIIT-Delhi, said:

- Both organizations will promote academic exchange through guest lectures and programmes, encouraging faculty members, scientists, and clinicians to share their expertise across institutions.
- Enable students and research staff to participate in academic events at both institutions, including lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Provide shared access to library resources and research materials for all members of both institutions.
- With faculty approval, students, clinicians, and staff can visit the partner institution for short research stays.
Dr. Shoibal Mukherjee, Director of Medical Research at Medanta, echoed this sentiment, stating:

The Foundation aims to provide a thriving ecosystem in India for research, development, and entrepreneurship in the area of ‘Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing’ and collaborate with Industries, Ministries, and Startups to develop technological solutions that can address short-term and long-term societal needs.
