The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has announced the start of admissions for the third batch of its Certificate Programme in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) to equip professionals with the required skills and knowledge to excel in the field of ML/DL.
As per the official statement, this comprehensive six-month online learning course is not just about theory but practical applications. It is aimed at professionals in the software and IT industry who are looking to enhance their skills with ML/DL and aspire to work as Machine Learning Specialists, Deep Learning Specialists, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, AI Engineers, etc. The course covers a wide range of ML and DL techniques, providing participants with the tools to solve real-world business problems.
Dr Manav Bhatnagar, Head QIPCEP and Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi, enthusiastically announced the programme. He assured that learners embarking on the Certificate Programme in Machine Learning and Deep Learning will be guided by our expert faculty. “They will explore the fundamental algorithms and gain proficiency in deploying the latest models, equipping them with both practical expertise and theoretical insights to thrive in the rapidly evolving contemporary landscape”.
The six-month programme will also boost the learner’s capability to become proficient in Python programming and its applications in machine learning and deep learning. According to the institute, the programme will be conducted via the state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode. The participants will also get to experience the institution for a one-day immersion programme. Learners will also be engaged in a three-week Capstone project and 4-6 hours of Masterclass on GPT.
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in India’s science, engineering and technology. Since its inception, over 48000 have graduated from the institute in various disciplines, including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences. Of these, nearly 5070 received PhD degrees. The number of students who graduated with a BTech degree is over 15738. The rest obtained Master’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences and Business Administration.
