The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras’ Pravartak Technologies Foundation, has recently partnered with Simplilearn, an online bootcamp provider for digital skills training. This collaboration aims to train students and professionals on digital skills such as product management, full-stack development (FSD) – MERN and cloud computing domains.
According to the official schedule, the first batch of FSD-MERN will begin in December 2023. Interested applicants can apply for this six-month curriculum through the link – simplilearn.com/full-stack-developer-course-and-certification-iitm-pravartak. Candidates will also have the option to participate in campus immersion experiences, allowing them to visit the campus, engage with the incubator, and have face-to-face interactions with faculty members. Under this cooperation, meticulously designed programmes are set to be formally launched in the coming months, following a structured timeline.
Through this partnership, Simplilearn and IITM Pravartak are set to introduce comprehensive programmes focused on full-stack development (FSD) – MERN, cloud computing and product management. This collaboration aims to upskill working professionals and freshers in cutting-edge skills in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
An official statement said, “Full-stack development – MERN stands out as one of the most coveted fields in the current era. Statistics also highlight that full-stack development is a high-demand role among developers in India. According to Indeed, the demand for full-stack developers exceeds 10,000 positions.”
IITM Pravartak is funded by the Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology as part of its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems and hosted as a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) by IIT Madras. The NM-ICPS is a comprehensive Mission that aims to achieve total convergence with all stakeholders by forging strong links between academia, industry, government, and international organizations. It focuses on new knowledge in the SNACS area through extensive and application-oriented research.
