While attending the launch event, Pradhan advocated for technology courses in more Indian languages, stressing that technology should not be confined to a specific language. He regarded this program as a step towards dismantling the language barrier in technology education and future-proofing the country’s youth, especially those in rural areas. The minister lauded India’s effective adoption of digital payments as evidence of its technological prowess. He commended GUVI for stepping forward to educate the poor community at the local level and equipping them with knowledge of cutting-edge technologies.
Pradhan also praised GUVI for its efforts in developing this programme in nine Indian languages. The platform aspires to spread AI education nationwide by providing instruction in regional tongues.
By making the program available online and free of cost, the govt plans to broaden the reach of the course. The quality and relevance of the system will be taken care of with the help of accreditations from NCVET and IIT Madras.
Indian language free online training for AI abilities has become a game-changing resource, empowering people and significantly impacting job chances in India. These platforms have opened opportunities for a sizable portion of the population with low English proficiency by offering education and training resources in regional languages like Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, and others. The availability of AI training in native languages has several advantageous effects on employment chances. First, it eliminates language barriers, enabling people with different backgrounds and locations to learn AI abilities. This openness encourages a more representative and diverse AI workforce, stimulating creativity and innovation.
GUVI aims to democratize tech education worldwide by meeting the standards of the EdTech industry. The company has a presence in over 1,200 engineering colleges across India. It has been upskilling learners with its Coding Practice and Assessment platform and specialized courses taught by prominent industry Mentors and academics. The firm also focuses on pedagogical tools, which are least focused on the skilling industry and simplifies skilling for every learner through its platform, mentors and community.
