Leading international education provider Study Group has acquired London-based Insendi, a learning experience platform developer that helps institutions implement new models of high impact, transformational online education, the company has announced recently.
While the amount of the deal was not disclosed, the move was described by the company as an opportunity to enhance Study Group’s position as a leading provider of international education in an area of growing importance to students and universities.
Founded in 2017 by staff from the Edtech Lab at Imperial College London, Insendi’s core product is a ‘Learning Experience Platform’ specifically designed to enable business schools to deliver a premium online and blended learning programs. The platform contains rich pedagogical functionality which enables learning designers to craft engaging and effective human-centered learning experience and via an intuitive, uncluttered interface. To enable its partners to fully realize the potential of the platform, Insendi also provides a range of high-touch, collaborative consultancy and services.

According to the release of the company, Insendi will operate as a separate company within Study Group to retain its focus on innovation in online higher education, while Study Group will also work closely with Insendi to develop its online student support and bespoke provision in the years to come.
Dr David LeFevre, Director and co-founder of Insendi, also the Director of the Edtech Lab at Imperial College, also issued a statement on the development saying,
