Today, Khan Academy and Central Square Foundation launched Khan Academy-Hindi.
The Hindi platform contains practice exercises, instructional videos, dashboard analytics and teacher tools to empower learners in and outside of the classroom to study, and will initially cover a select range of grades for the NCERT-mapped Maths curriculum.
Sal Khan, Founder and CEO, Khan Academy and Ashish Dhawan, Founder and Chairman, Central Square Foundation write about how technology can play a critical role in addressing India’s education crisis and allowing students to study at their own pace, which means that gaps in learning are addressed quickly and easily. It is part of our collective vision to enable high quality, localised and personalised learning resources to students across India, that can help them master skills at their own pace, they share.
Also Sandeep Bapna, India Country Manager at Khan Academy on the occasion shares, “Today we’re happy to announce that learners around the world can now access Khan Academy resources in Hindi! If you speak Hindi, you can learn math through our video lessons and practice problems mapped to India’s NCERT curriculum. Wherever you are – Mumbai, Jaipur, a village in Haryana, or anywhere else around the globe – we believe you deserve the opportunity to learn at your own pace and in your own language. Khan Academy in Hindi brings us one step closer to our mission of a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere, and we thank our friends at Central Square Foundation for helping to make this possible. We hope you enjoy Khan Academy in Hindi!”
