McGraw Hill and Maarif Education have signed an agreement that establishes McGraw Hill as Maarif Education’s official learning partner across all its ten campuses in Saudi Arabia. According to an official statement, the partnership provides Maarif Education access to McGraw Hill’s proprietary content in both print and digital formats, as well as to resources from third-party publishers through a single provider.
Maarif Education has already rolled out McGraw Hill’s core and additional math, science, and literacy programmes throughout its campuses from grades pre-K to 12. The cooperation was inked in May of last year. These include Inspire Science, Reveal Math, Wonders, and intervention programmes to provide students with a personalized learning path and help bring students up to grade level. The programmes will accompany McGraw Hill’s state-of-the-art digital learning platforms, including ConnectEd, Open Learning Platform (OLP) and ALEKS.
To ensure the successful implementation of these programmes, the schools have access to a dedicated McGraw Hill support team for curriculum delivery, academic and technical training, Learning Management System (“LMS”) integration, professional development, and a wide range of on-demand resources. In addition to ongoing teacher training, McGraw Hill organized two weeks of professional development focused on best practices in teaching and learning to upskill teaching staff across all campuses.
Commenting on the collaboration, Lefteris Souris, SVP and Managing Director for K-12/School with McGraw Hill’s International group, said:
We are thrilled to join forces with Maarif Education to transform education in Saudi Arabia. McGraw Hill is dedicated to enhancing learning outcomes for learners at all stages, and we see this partnership as a significant step toward achieving that goal. Together, we will provide the best K-12 education in the Kingdom, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in the digital age.
The joint effort is one of a kind in Saudi Arabia, considering it is unusual for a K-12 educational group the size of Maarif Education to entrust all of its educational needs to a single learning partner. The groundbreaking relationship demonstrates both institutions’ commitment to advancing K-12 education in the Kingdom and aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to develop a highly skilled population.
Maarif has enriched the lives of tens of thousands of families across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing rigorous national and international education through Manarat Schools, Al Faisaliah Schools, Green Hills International Schools, Nour Al Islam Schools, and AIS in collaboration with Saudi Aramco. The company works hard to achieve academic excellence and to provide its students with an exceptional educational environment and a well-rounded experience that prepares them to be active and influential leaders in their communities and society, with a progressive global perspective and a proud and genuine national identity.
Ihab Ibrahim Osman, CEO of Maarif Education, stated:
