With the education sector seeing major changes in the recent past, OnlineTyari, India’s leading web and mobile app platform providing a complete solution for online preparation for different competitive exams, has come up with yet another expedient, which is sure to transform education sector.
The platform has recently opened experience centres at Jaipur & Patna that enable students to take offline mock tests and get their doubts cleared before giving any competition exam at an All-India level.
OnlineTyari has adopted an O2O (Online to Offline) strategy by roping in some of the best local coaching institutes, independent tutors, and publishers who will provide students with a simulated experience before giving their actual exams. Since OnlineTyari was initiated in Jaipur and has a strong existing network within the city, umpteen centres already followed the platforms module, test preparation e-books and study material for coaching. Patna, on the other hand, is a leading centre for aspiring candidates preparing for their dream Government jobs, hence a centre in the city.
Commenting on the launch of the experiential centers, Mr. Bhola Meena, Co-founder & CEO, OnlineTyari, said, “OnlineTyari is all about bringing the youth of the country on a platform that will help them prepare well for their dream jobs. By using the online-to-offline and offline-to-online strategy, we are ensuring that students struggling to get digital access or the best study material and preparation tips outside metro cities do not suffer. We want to prepare at least 1 million monthly test takers by March 2019, who successfully get a government job using our platform. We aim to be a candidate’s partner during their whole preparation cycle. With 5 million+ users on OnlineTyari, we get abundant requests from users looking to better their preparation; therefore a foray into experiential centers.”
A significant number of students while preparing for the exams in remote locations still don’t have access to computers. They do not know how the whole ambience of giving an online examination is like. To address this problem, OnlineTyari plans to launch Experiential Centres in 12 Indian cities by the end of this year.
“Experiential Examinations by OnlineTyari will focus on the development of more mock assessment tests and benchmark students’ performance at an All India level. Students will also get an actual feel of what it is like to give a competitive exam with similar students. They will be able to get their last-minute doubts cleared with the help of faculty, and better manage their time & stress that they might experience while appearing for the final exam,” added Rajveer Meena, Co-founder & COO, OnlineTyari.
OnlineTyari has been downloaded by 6 million students and 7 million+ students have registered on its online platform. It has even raised $4 million in two rounds of funding from leading investors in India and is backed by leading angel investors like Mohandas Pai, Vikram Chachra, Globevestor and some of the leading investors in education domain such as Dell Foundation, Contrarian Drishti, and 3one4 Capital. They envision becoming ‘No. 1 test preparation platform’ for which they will be expanding their offline presence in North India by the end of 2018. They are also looking to enable more vernacular languages on the platform by next year.
