Teachers and Learners can create interactive video experiences with the Sharp AQUOS BOARD interactive display system to engage, capture and share learning content through the Kaltura platform.
Kaltura, the leading video technology provider, today announced a new partnership with Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC) to bring the power of the Kaltura video platform to the Sharp AQUOS BOARD™ interactive display system. Together, Kaltura and Sharp are collaborating to make learning a more personalized, immersive experience for users everywhere.
The award-winning AQUOS BOARD display line has expanded to meet the changing needs of education and business environments. With smooth, effortless communication, web pages, graphics, videos and more, the AQUOS BOARD display offers users endless ways to engage learners inside the classroom or boardroom. The AQUOS BOARD display’s highly responsive touch functionality also allows several people to write on the same touch screen at the same time, changing the way teachers and learners communicate.
“Sharp and Kaltura have bridged the gap between classroom and personalized learning,” said Gary Bailer, director of product management, Information Display Products, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “The new Sharp AQUOS BOARD interactive display system brings cutting-edge, multi-touch technology into the classroom, while Kaltura’s video platform helps continue student learning well beyond the classroom to more personalized, immersive learning experiences.”
When paired with the Kaltura video platform, users can access top new features, like screen recording through Kaltura CaptureSpace, directly from the AQUOS BOARD display. Big-screen learning experiences can also now be recorded, shared and replayed from within the Kaltura platform anywhere, from any device.
“We are excited to collaborate with Sharp to offer a more connected, interactive learning experience both in and outside the classroom,” said Zohar Babin, Managing Director; VPaaS, Ecosystem and Community at Kaltura. “Collaborative learning tools are crucial to increasing student engagement and retention, and Kaltura is committed to helping our clients stay at the forefront of education.”
