Physics Wallah, India’s top online EdTech platform, has announced a strategic collaboration with Kerala-based Xylem Learning. As part of this partnership, Physics Wallah intends to invest ₹500 crore over the next three years to expand its presence in the southern market, according to the company.
The partnership between Physics Wallah and Xylem Learning will leverage the exchange of technology and knowledge to enhance the learning experience for JEE and NEET aspirants in South India. They will now expand their reach to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and other southern markets.
Speaking on the collaboration, Founder & CEO of Physics Wallah, Alakh Pandey, said in a statement:
This partnership with Xylem Learning fills me with immense excitement and pride. It not only aligns with our shared vision of providing quality education to all but also propels us closer to our strategic goal of becoming the leading education platform in South India.
Pandey added:
In three years, we will invest Rs 500 crore in propagating the brave and unique Xylem model of Hybrid Learning to other adjoining sister states – it is a special result-oriented learning plan that has impressed me. This will require robust team building, content development, technological innovation, expansion in other categories and hybrid centres. We will also look at mergers and acquisitions in the South.

In addition, it claims to have more than 1 lakh paid students across its various online courses and 30,000 students in its offline or hybrid centres located across Kerela’s five districts.
Xylem Learning also operates ten tuition centres and a school-integrated program across seven schools. It has also ventured into commerce and Kerela PSC test preparation and will continue expanding other categories.
