SeekOut, a recruitment intelligence platform empowering people and companies to grow together with actionable insights at every step of one’s talent journey, has recently announced the launch of a new generative AI technology based on OpenAI’s GPT, called SeekOut Assist. The tool allows recruiting teams to contact candidates quickly once they have created a job description and pasted it onto the system. The product generates a list of the most qualified candidates for the role.
According to the company, the system uses GPT technology to break down job descriptions into search criteria such as job title, required skills and preferred skills. It analyzes over 800 million profiles in SeekOut’s talent database to find the best matches. Its search criteria are transparent and explainable and can be further fine-tuned by a recruiter.
In addition, SeekOut Assist generates a personalized message to the candidate based on their qualifications for the role, which the company claims is backed by research that shows these messages increase their email response rates. The tool analyses the information in each candidate’s SeekOut profile, including skills and experiences.
Speaking about the newly launched initiative, Co-founder & CTO of SeekOut, Aravind Bala, said:
SeekOut Assist is a big step forward in solving real business problems with the power of Generative AI and will make our customers radically more productive and effective. We’re excited about the future of AI in the HR technology space and look forward to working with our customers and partners to build new tools that make recruiters’ contributions to their organizations even more strategic.
The HRTech startup believes its new approach to generative AI could seriously impact how recruiters find candidates and fill roles.

The platform aims to help companies understand people’s potential for better outcomes. It combines talent acquisition and management into one platform and aggregates more complete data than any other company in the market. The company currently supports thousands of companies in recruiting hard-to-find and diverse talent and developing their people.
In January 2022, SeekOut raised $115 million in its Series C funding round led by Tiger Global Management. The round also witnessed participation from Founders Circle Capital and other major existing investors, including Madrona Venture Group and Mayfield.
