TextKernel, an Amsterdam-based powered recruitment software company, has acquired Joboti, a candidate engagement tech provider, for an undisclosed sum. With this acquisition, Joboti and Textkernel bring two innovative organizations with a shared vision for providing automated and scalable solutions for recruiters and recruitment professionals.
Textkernel’s advanced parsing and matching technology, combined with Joboti’s innovative automated candidate engagement technology, creates a powerful platform for recruiters to find and engage the right candidates with minimal effort.
Founded in 2001 by Gerard Mulder and Jakub Zavrel,, TextKernel works with companies across multiple industries delivering multilingual parsing, semantic search and match, and labor market intelligence solutions. Its solutions include CV parsing and matching, labor market analytics, semantic search, sourcing tools, and a mid-office application for the staffing industry. The platform has over 2,500 HR and staffing organizations worldwide to bring the latest artificial intelligence technology to its customers’ fingertips.

Joboti, started in 2016 by Luuk van Neerven and Stephan Kockelkoren, is a specialized automated candidate interaction technology supplier. It helps enhance the employment process, increase the efficiency of HR professionals and recruiters, and lower their workload. The company currently has over 200 customers with integrations into leading ATS and Candidate CRM applications across the Benelux, UK and North America. And since the software supports many languages, the latest deal will help Joboti to benefit from the global presence of Textkernel and expand faster into new countries.

In December 2021, Textkernel acquired US-based AI company Sovren to expand its business across North America and the Asia Pacific. According to a report, the deal was valued between €30 million to €40 million.
