SchoolStatus, a pioneer in K-12 data-driven solutions that promote student success, has announced the acquisition of SchoolNow, a unified digital publishing platform for K-12 that simplifies how schools engage families and communities, according to an official announcement. With this acquisition, SchoolStatus will be able to incorporate SchoolNow’s comprehensive communication capabilities into its student success platform, which is designed for K-12 educators and leaders.
The SchoolStatus platform will allow users to create and update their website rapidly, the district’s most significant owned communication asset. SchoolNow combines ADA-compliant websites, mobile apps, social media, text, voice, and email into an all-in-one system to broaden and deepen the school experience with families.
SchoolNow, formerly Campus Suite, is an innovative web and digital communications company that provides online platforms and educational resources through the SchoolNow Academy to help schools with community engagement and communications planning. Since 1999, the company has focused on developing streamlined and personalized school-home communications. Its technology enables users to create simply accessible and SEO-friendly school or district websites, unify messaging, branding, and communications across all platforms, and connect family and staff through constantly branded social media posts. It also offers support through fast and efficient CMS and website tools and dedicated launch teams to ensure website success.
Speaking on the acquisition, Russ Davis, CEO & Founder of SchoolStatus, said:
SchoolNow is an excellent addition to our recently launched student success platform, SchoolStatus, as both companies share the common goal of solving schools’ most significant challenges in communication and making it easier for schools to connect and engage with families. Integrating SchoolNow’s technology will further allow SchoolStatus to offer our district partners the leading solutions for improving student achievement and attendance—delivering another piece of the puzzle.
With school-home communication and engagement serving a significant role in driving student success, this deal perfectly aligns with SchoolStatus’ mission to impact the success of each student it serves. SchoolStatus provides a comprehensive suite of communication and attendance solutions that enhance educator-to-family connectedness and support student success. With millions of successful school-home interactions, the company is improving student outcomes by facilitating meaningful engagement between educators, districts, and families across the US.
SchoolStatus will entirely acquire SchoolNow, including SchoolNow’s operations, technology, team of employees, and clients. SchoolNow users will continue to have access to the same products and services they currently use.
