saasguru, a Sydney-based education and technology company, has raised $1.3 million in funding round led by Aussie VC Square Peg Capital, with participation from Black Nova.
With the new financing, the Australian startup will be focused on improving the platform as much as possible, and on building out both the network of gurus and the certification programs the startup supports.
Founded in 2021 by Amit Choudhary, saasguru is a SaaS & AI-based marketplace providing certification exam preparation solutions. The platform also offers interactive and personalized support to help prepare learners for specific qualifications, in Salesforce or AWS cloud technologies, including an initial benchmarking exam, tools that adapt to the individual’s learning style and knowledge gaps, and a gamified platform showing how they stack up against their peers and offering challenges.
saasguru’s mission is to solve the cloud skills crisis by creating the bridge between learning and certifications. The company is working towards making an impact beyond learning. saasguru aims to build a community of employers, gurus and learners contributing to each others success.
Since its inception, the startup claims to have more than 5000 users across 20 countries, with numbers growing by about 50%, month-on-month.
