WeVideo, the leading video learning platform for K–12, empowers educators and students to create, engage, and inspire with video. Skolon, a premier platform enabling seamless access to digital learning resources, has announced a strategic partnership that will broaden access to collaborative and video-based learning experiences for students and educators.
As part of this collaboration, WeVideo’s suite of easy video creation tools will be available on Skolon’s entire digital platform, assisting educators in creating lessons that increase student engagement and improve learning.
Skolon is an independent platform for digital education tools and learning resources designed for teachers and students. The platform makes accessing and using your digital school resources simple, improves security, reduces administration, and frees up more learning time. The company’s objective is that digital learning should be accessible to everyone. To do this, it will provide the most efficient and intelligent approach to accessing and utilizing digital resources in the classroom. It features various new features for safer and simpler digital learning, and collaborations are created with some of the Nordic region’s prominent publishers.
Commenting on the collaboration, Erik Ræstad, Managing Director of International Sales at WeVideo, said:
WeVideo has always believed in the power of video to spark creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in the classroom. This partnership makes it easier for educators to use video for deeper learning.
Through the partnership, WeVideo’s extensive feature set, including multi-track editing, screen recording, green screen, and collaborative video projects, will be available to Skolon users via single sign-on (SSO) and streamlined app management. WeVideo also provides interactive video tools to engage viewers and promote content retention with in-video modules, which will also be available. These capabilities help students become active content creators, while teachers benefit from simplified lesson planning and real-time assessment tools.
Sebastian Matuska, Skolon’s Chief Business Development Officer, added:
Partnering with WeVideo allows us to expand our offerings while empowering schools to integrate video-based projects seamlessly into their curriculum. This collaboration reflects our shared dedication to innovation, making digital tools more accessible and enabling students to learn in engaging and impactful ways.
