JobAndTalent, a Madrid-based workforce-as-a-service provider, has recently launched live-updating vacancies and a commute calculator. According to the company’s Linkedin post, live-updating vacancies show the availability of jobs in real-time and fast-track the application process, with qualified candidates often being accepted automatically.
With daily commuters averaging 56 minutes, knowing where the job will be located is critical when choosing the right opportunity. The platform provides the full job address and a commute calculator so job-seekers can plan their days and gain back valuable time. Currently being tested in select countries, these features will soon be available in many more markets. The company further mentioned that it has already seen a 150% increase in job applications.
Co-founded in 2009 by Juan Urdiales and Felipe Nav, JobAndTalent aims to make the labour market more fluid and accessible by tearing down all job search and hiring barriers. Its job matching technology enables one to recommend the right job offers to candidates in real-time and suitable candidates to businesses, making this process faster and more efficient.
At the heart of the platform is its proprietary job-matching technology developed by an elite team of engineers and data scientists. It matches businesses and job-seekers in record time. With in-app messaging, scheduling, contract signing and payroll, JobAndTalent radically reduces the hiring time while protecting all parties from legal risk.
The startup rose by over 90% to €1.9 billion ($2.1 billion US) in 2022. It operates in 11 countries across Europe and the Americas. The firm has raised over $850 million in funding from investors such as Atomico, Kinnevik, and Softbank. Earlier this month, JobAndTalent acquired Medac, an official vocational training institute.
