School admissions are an important time for the school and the parents.
The ambiguous aura of admissions leaves parents wondering and worried about their child’s future. Technology has been transforming the way children learn but we still see areas where it can be leveraged to ease school administration processes. Admissions is one such area that can be made hassle-free with technology.
Intelliadmissions is an online admissions platform ensuring this hassle-free experience to parents and schools. With Intelliadmissions parents can create one application and apply to multiple schools.
In many schools, admissions for Nursery and Kindergarten is still done manually with either paper based forms or downloadable online forms. Parents need to visit the school frequently and need to be on their toes for keeping track of individual application announcements. For working parents the whole activity becomes tougher as they need to manage it with their busy work schedule.
For the schools, it is anything but easy. Schools need to manually review hundreds of application forms, besides spending time on scheduling, meeting and finalizing applicants. Intelliadmissions reduces time spent on admissions by up to 80% by automating most of the processes.
The platform has salient features such as mobile number for authentication, help text for parents in the regional languages and SMS notification to parents. School sign up is very easy and requires only 5 data points. It is an efficient and an eco-friendly solution and is a unique proposition in the market.
Intelliadmissions caters to all grades from Nursery to Standard X and it’s easy for schools to sign up on the platform.

Walkthrough:
For Schools: Schools pay an annual subscription fee based on the number of classes they want to use the platform and receive access to automated dashboards for tracking and processing. Besides, they receive a digital record of all applications made.
For Parents: Parents can register for free with their mobile number and fill the admission form online. They can then apply to multiple schools in the desired cities and areas. Currently, schools from Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Pune and Kolhapur are already registered on the platform. Scanned copies of the required documents necessary to complete the application process are mentioned and can be uploaded in a jpg or pdf file format. The same document is verified in the school when the candidates are short-listed.
Pricing:
Pricing starts at INR 25,000 for the entry level grade (Nursery or Kindergarten) to the school and the entire school (from the entry level to Grade X) can be on the common platform for INR 40,000 per annum. The pricing excludes taxes.
For schools that want an individual portal, the same can be customized. Separate charges are applicable.
Usability:
Parents can fill one form and apply to multiple schools in the city and area of their choice. The admissions portal is available 24 x 7. Parents do not need to wait in queues or go to each school to get the application form. The filling of the application form is online itself (not a download of a form that is posted online) and the applicant receives a confirmation of the completed application via SMS and email. Schools receive accurate digital data and can shortlist applicants easily in less than 2 hours. Any parent can login to the Intelliadmissions website and apply to schools. Administrators are provided with secure access separately to access the information.
Our Review:
In our opinion, the platform bridges the gap between parents and schools making the process a lot easier for both the parent and the school. The value proposition is unique and not many are doing it effectively. All the manual functions get automated saving a lot of time and making the experience hassle-free and organized without having to worry about nitty-gritties. Parents can easily fill out forms anytime and do not need to skip work for their kids’ admission and administration no longer have to feel stressed looking at the long queues. Parents and schools must try this platform to make things easier for themselves.
