EdTechReview organized the Educational Leadership Conference (ELC) on 1st August 2014 at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon where “Creya Learning” was the Presenting Partner and, “Fedena by Foradian” & “MindSpark by EI” were the Associate Partners.
The conference witnessed over 150 school leaders that included directors, chairmen, principals and administrators from schools in Delhi NCR.
The “Educational Leadership Conference (ELC) 2014 | New Delhi” was an array of sessions, panel discussions and case study presentations on the effective use of educational technology and best practices for 21st century education. With the central theme “21st Century Leadership”, the conference was a great place for all the school leaders to learn and share experiences and practices, take home a great deal of knowledge only to be practiced in their professions and for the benefit of their institutions.
The conference clearly highlighted the need for a vision for 21st century education in the country, and a need of strong education community whose members come together and develop resources to support each other aligned to a common bond and commitment to 21st century education. The discussions also brought a consensus on the need for teaching Digital Citizenship and Cyber Safety, emphasized on the need of cost-effective technologies and continuous professional development and how all of this can be accomplished.
It was a unique learning experience for all of us in understanding the inevitable role of technology in education, amazing educational leadership practices and how as a community we can embed 21st century knowledge and skills in education.
We would once again like to thank all the speakers who took out time from their busy schedule to share knowledge; all the sponsors, exhibitors and partners who have helped in making the event a reality, and all our team members who worked tirelessly to make this event what it was ought to be.
