Want to share your Edmodo experiences with the global community at EdmodoCon 2014? Edmodo is looking for people who want to share their expertise and inspire educators, classrooms, schools, and districts around the world.
Last year, EdmodoCon had over 27,000 educators from 117 countries interested in learning new ways to integrate technology in their classroom. If you’re passionate about mentoring and connecting with this year’s attendees, answer the call for speakers and complete the presentations form.
To showcase all the ways to use Edmodo, it’s best when proposals can cover a variety of relevant topics, such as mobile learning, STEM, Common Core, mobile learning, and more. Need some inspiration before submitting? Watch the sessions from EdmodoCon 2013.
What to Know Before You Submit
Before applying, please consider that you’ll be agreeing to all of the following if you’re selected:
Traveling August 4-7. Selected speakers will present live from the Edmodo headquarters in San Mateo, CA. (Flight and hotel TBD and paid for by Edmodo!).
Being Camera-Friendly. Presentations will be live streamed and recorded, so you must be willing to present on camera. This year, we’re also asking speaker applicants to submit a short screencast or video (2 mins or less) that summarizes what you’d like to share at EdmodoCon.
Summer Training. Selected speakers will be required to go through a preparation webinar hosted by our Learning Programs Manager in July.
Want the chance to share your story? Visit EdmodoCon.com and submit your proposal by May 18,2014.
All submissions will be evaluated by Edmodo team members. Presentations will be selected based on quality of content, usefulness to the Edmodo global community, and real-world relevance and value. If you submit a proposal, expect to hear from us via email by end of June.
This is a great opportunity to use your expertise to inspire classrooms, schools and districts around the world.
Stay tuned, registration for EdmodoCon 2014 will open in May!
