Importance of School Culture

The Core spent time with Toni Torchia, School Psychology Doctoral Candidate at State University of New York at Buffalo, who recently penned a chapter for the new book 'Youth Suicide and Bullying.' Torchia also works at the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention and discusses the nuances of bullying and the role mental health and education can play in lowering incidences of abuse.

Bullying has become a global issue and Torchia aptly describes what constitutes bullying, the role power differential plays and illuminates the challenges for victims.
