Amit Garga, Partner at The Parthenon Group, talks about what transnational education is and how it can impact emerging education markets globally.
Amit has expertise in market opportunity and sizing, growth forecasting, investment prioritization, profit pool analysis, cost savings identification, due diligence and integration, pricing strategy, sales force optimization, organizational structure and design, and assessment of best demonstrated practices of education companies across emerging markets.
Amit has advised a number of large private equity companies on investments in the education sector across segments including K-12, higher education, study abroad, vocational training, English language training and other education sectors in developed and emerging markets. Additionally, Amit also has broad experience in healthcare and industrial goods and services sectors.
Prior to joining Parthenon, Amit worked as Assistant Vice President (Strategy), for Entertainment Network India Ltd. (Times of India Group) and as Associate with A.T. Kearney. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
