I will give a quick walk through of the topics that were covered over the last one week that might catch your interest, by briefly touching few of those articles and discussing a few of them in detail. I find myself researching and learning so many
new things when I visit EdTechReview for the weekly digest. This week I will be touching the following topics in this digest.

Demonstrating what they’ve learned helps students develop their independence as learners. Online learning gives many opportunities to students to demonstrate their knowledge. Earlier, students could only demonstrate their knowledge and comprehension through limited ways such as quizzes, essays, tests and other formative practice. In order to create a more effective learning experience, new and engaging ways for students to demonstrate knowledge should be adopted.
To help children to compete on an international level academically, parents and educators need to start educating them early. The school readiness gap needs to be closed to ensure that children have the chance to kindergarten ready for success. Learning that is restricted to the four walls of a classroom cannot prove to be very effective. There is a need to connect classrooms to the world outside to realize the true potential of learning and make it effective.
